Apparently the past 28 days, and the next 3, have been and will be part of Connected Educator Month, “Strengthening connected online communities of practice in education.”
I didn’t get the memo either, but here is some helpful, if not belated information.
On the Connected Educator website you can see (if you hurry) the schedule of online events happening in the next few days. Hopefully there is one of interest to you, in an hour when you can e-attend. If your schedule doesn’t work out, here are some archived webinars and keynotes from the Learning 2.0 Virtual Conference held last week. There are some really good topics, like using cell-phones in class, blogging, using social media, motivating creative thinkers, improving your assessments, and many others. See if you can spare an hour this week to watch one of the webinars that interests you.
